Ben was not here today. He might be at the trade school. So I followed Simo for the whole day.
0630 - Breaking up pallet to salvage the timber used for the light poles
1500 - Finished
I was breaking the pallet for the whole. That surely made a pallet breaking expert. Initially I was salvaging the timber by whacking the pallet with hammer. It was a pretty tough job. I even sprained my wrist.
During lunch time, someone told me to use a hacksaw rather than a hammer. I heeded his advice. It was much easier and the timber didn't break up easily.
Pallet breaking - that's my whole day.
By the way, I was supposed to go to the trade school today. No one told me. Not even PEER. Actually I was told to expect the trade school to start in 3 months time. It's only 2 weeks now. That's mind-boggling. Anyway, the TAFE lecturer asked me to catch up the lesson next Monday instead.
